I know that the iPhone is the greatest gadget to appear in society for a long time, but I can't justify owning one. Here's why.
The price of the iPhone is misleading. It's more than just a few hundred bucks (8GB for $399 today), because that doesn't cover services. Just listen to the logic of it. You drop $399, you get the toy of the century: your iPod, phone, and internet in one place. The problems? You have to pay for phone services, AND internet services - by month. not to mention my 30 GB iPod, which I use a lot of, becomes a worthless $260 hunk-a-junk. And my phone- which I'm contracted to-doesn't stop service. And for what? So I can't get lost trying to find a pizza place? Check Facebook at the boring part of a movie in theaters? Its spectacular, no one is doubting that, but I believe it is questionable that the price is justified in a poor college kid's budget...
Sorry, Apple! You already sold me on an iPod, and I plan to get a little more use from it before I upgrade. I will get back to you when my evil phone service expires or is extinguished (mwahaha)!
